We looked at the period from 1 April 2008 to 20 January 2009. During this time we recorded a total of 1467 cases. Out of those 622 were new cases. A total of 1804 actions were taken. An action would be a call to a parent for example.
Our busiest months seem to have been June, July, September and November. The main sources for referrals were parents at 73.9%.
A lot of useful information was gained from the recent questionnaires parents completed. This is tremendously useful, as it will help to improve our service to parents in Gloucestershire. Thank you to all who fed back to us.
Most parents contacted us by telephone. 97% found us helpful and would recommend us to other parents. Parents had a variety of reasons why they contacted us, ranging from obtaining information and advice to support with an appeal.
